We will carpool to the parking lot at 15 / 16 Sideroad in Singhampton
and explore the Nottawasaga Bluffs. This is a great place to
snowshoe/hike, offering several options in length, difficulty, beauty
and views. Bring a beverage and a light snack. Following the hike will
be an optional lunch at Mylar and Loreta’s - one of our favourite
restaurants.

Saturday December 5, 2009 - Time: 9:30am
We meet at the skiers’ parking lot on Grey Road #2. From here we walk
north to km 15.8, where the hike will terminate. The trail follows
woodland, open pastures and is hilly. Bring water and a lunch.

will carpool to Blantyre and follow the main trail east over the height
of land that separates the Beaver River Valley and the Bighead River
Valley. The trail follows the escarpment edge through bush and open
fields and passes some of the many deep crevices that are prevalent in
this area. The hike terminates at km 105.2. Bring water and a lunch.
